Offshore 26

Le voilier Offshore 26 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Cheoy Lee Shipyard en Hong Kong. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop en tête, réalisé par l'architecte naval Cheoy Lee avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.15 m. La production a démarré en 1957 et s'est terminée en 1961.

OFFSHORE 26 is a name given to more than one distinct model, built by Cheoy Lee Shipyard. Dimensions and description shown here are for the earlier version, a folkboat variant, with transom hung rudder, built of wood, and similar to what later came to be known as the FRISCO FLYER (of which there were a number of versions). See FRISCO FLYER for what that boat looks like.
Another OFFSHORE 26, built of FG and introduced in 1969 appears to be a different design, possibly based on the NEWELL CADET, (also sold by Cheoy Lee as the OFFSHORE 27.)
