Le voilier Pacer est construit par Puffin Paints and Glues en Royaume-Uni. Ce monocoque, gréé en Sloop fractionné, réalisé par l'architecte naval Jack Holt, mesure 3.83 m de long. La production a démarré en 1969.

Originally called the PUFFIN PACER after the builder that first commissioned the design. (Puffin Paints and Glues in the UK). In the mid 1970's it was renamed PACER in the UK, with Australia following suit some years later.
