Le voilier Compass 47 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Anchor Marine. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop en tête, réalisé par l'architecte naval Angelo Lavranos avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.91 m. La production a démarré en 1980. 50 exemplaires du bateau ont été produits.

The COMPASS 47 is a popular large cruiser from South Africa. Of the 50 that have been built, 7 are cold-moulded timber and the remainder in solid GRP. Variations include centre and aft cockpits, sloop and ketch rigs.
