Chaque fabricant de moteurs a ses propres désignations de moteurs
Outre la puissance, les constructeurs de moteurs ont attribué à chaque modèle plusieurs lettres ou chiffres. Pour savoir exactement de quel modèle il s'agit, il faut connaître la signification de chaque lettre ou combinaison, pour chaque marque. Suivez le guide !
Lors de l'achat d'un moteur, il n'est pas toujours facile de savoir quelle version vous convient le mieux. De plus, les constructeurs ont une façon de classer les moteurs qui peut paraître obscure et qui évolue avec la technologie. Un alphabet spécifique à chaque marque qui permet de savoir exactement à quelle version de chaque moteur on a affaire.
Pour vous aider, nous avons répertorié la signification de chaque lettre pour chaque fabricant de moteurs hors-bord.
C Utilisé ici pour indiquer un modèle d'embrayage centrifuge. Pour les puissances supérieures à 150 ch, le C signifie contre-rotation.
D Placé en 3ème position, il indique un groupe de produits. Pour les moteurs de plus de 150 ch, le D signifie "Drive by Wire", c'est-à-dire un modèle à commandes électriques
G S'il est placé en 3ème position, il signifie "gaz d'inclinaison"
H Poignée (par exemple, un modèle à barre franche)
J Si elle est placée en 3ème position, elle indique un groupe de produits
N S'il est placé en 3ème position, il indique "Pas de circuit de charge intégré".
R Télécommande
S S'il est placé en première position, il signifie "Short" (pour arbre court) S'il est placé en 3ème position, il signifie "Démarreur électrique"
L Contre-rotation à gauche (pour les gros moteurs)
MH Démarrage manuel
N Moteur vendu sans plaque de base (à choisir au moment de l'achat)
S Arbre court (jusqu'à 25 hp)
